Pretoria East · Estate & cluster specialists
The leak is
under the paving.
We find it before
anyone lifts a stone.
REYDS detects, repairs and certifies hidden water leaks in estate and cluster homes across Pretoria East — beneath driveways, behind shared walls and under irrigated gardens. Non-invasive first, always.

The estate problem
Estate living makes leaks harder to see — and more expensive to get wrong.
Shared walls
A failed riser in one unit tracks through the shared wall and surfaces in the neighbour’s skirting, months later. We test both sides before anyone points a finger.
Paving and slabs
Driveways, courtyards and floor slabs were laid over original service trenches. Opening them to look for a leak is not an option, so we make the pipe audible instead.
Irrigated gardens
Borehole-fed systems on large estate stands run long and hard. A single stuck solenoid or split lateral can waste more water than a burst pipe — invisibly.
Method
Four steps. Nothing opened until the evidence agrees.
Any single instrument can be fooled by a running toilet, a pool pump or groundwater. We never commit to a break-point on one signal.
Meter & pressure interview
We start at the meter: isolate zones, watch the dial, record pressure. Most properties give up their story in the first fifteen minutes.
Multi-method sweep
Acoustic correlation on the pipe run, thermal imaging across the slab, tracer gas in the void. Three methods must agree before we commit.
Pinpoint & mark
The failure point is marked on the surface with an accuracy of roughly 300mm — that is the difference between one paver and a demolished driveway.
Repair & certify
We repair, pressure-test, reinstate the finish and issue a certificate with photographs your insurer and the estate can file.
Capabilities
Detection, repair and certification under one accountable standard.
Non-invasive leak detection
Acoustic, thermal and tracer-gas pinpointing — no demolition.
Hidden leaks under paving & slabs
Driveways, courtyards, entertainment areas and floor slabs.
Shared wall & boundary leaks
Cluster homes, duets and estate boundary walls.
Irrigation & garden leaks
Pop-ups, solenoids, dripper lines and borehole feeds.
Pool leak detection & repair
Shell, weir, return line and plant-room leaks.
Geyser & hot water leaks
Ceiling voids, pressure valves and hot-water pipework.
Insurance leak reports
Photographic evidence, thermal scans and certification.
Surgical leak repair
The smallest opening that does the job.

Insurance & estates
A report your insurer, your body corporate and your neighbour can all act on.
Every REYDS investigation ends with evidence: the method used, the readings taken, the failure point located, photographic proof and a repair certificate. It is written for loss adjusters and trustees, not for a filing cabinet.
- Photographic and thermal evidence of the failure point
- Moisture readings before and after repair
- Clear statement of which line failed, and whose line it is
- Certification of the repair, with a pressure test result

Water where it should not be?
Tell us what you are seeing. We will tell you what it is likely to be, what it will cost to find, and when we can be there.
Questions we answer daily
No. Detection happens on the surface using sound, heat and gas. We only open the smallest possible area once the failure point is confirmed — usually a single paver, one tile, or a section of ceiling board directly above the geyser.
