What insurers usually cover

Most South African household policies cover the resulting water damage and, on many policies, the trace-and-access cost of finding the leak. The repair to the pipe itself is often covered separately or excluded — your broker or loss adjuster decides. Our report is written so that conversation is short.

What happens if we cannot find it?

On a confirmed loss we stay until the failure point is located — that is the job. If the test proves there is no loss on the property, you get a written finding saying so, which is exactly what you need to take up a municipal or meter dispute.

Payment and estates

EFT or card on completion, with a tax invoice. For body corporates and managing agents we invoice the scheme, and for insurers we invoice the policy holder or the adjuster as instructed.
